We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I assist Dr. Pittman with patient appointments and adjustments, take photos, X-rays, and digital scans of teeth, complete lab work, order supplies, and help out wherever I am needed. I completed the dental assisting program at Blue Ridge CTC in Martinsburg, WV in the fall of 2013, and began with Dr. Pittman in August 2014. I love all areas of my job, but my favorite part is watching patients see their new beautiful smile for the first time, and knowing that I helped create it. I also love working with Dr. Pittman and our team! We have such a strong bond, both in and outside of the office, and we use each other’s strengths and weaknesses to provide our patients and families with a welcoming, professional, and fun atmosphere!
My husband Brian and I have two boys Bryson and Tucker, a dog named Ruger, a cat named Cali, and a few chickens. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends, working around the house, and being outdoors. I also am an active FFA and 4-H alumni.
I have been working in the dental field since 1975, and love being part of a new orthodontic practice. It’s a joy to meet and talk with our patients and their families, then watch the changes in each person’s smile and confidence as they move through orthodontics. My days are spent delivering patient care in the office, assisting Dr. Pittman during procedures, and taking X-rays, impressions, and photos. I also travel to local schools to teach about dental hygiene and help youth understand why it’s important to keep their dental health in great shape, along with how to do so.
I’m an active person. I love meeting people, traveling, and being outdoors. I’m also known to enjoy auctions, and I collect antiques. My very favorite hobby, though, is raising pygmy goats.
I began my career as an assistant in general dentistry more than 20 years ago and recently transitioned into orthodontics. I’m so glad I did! It gives me the best opportunity to get to know our patients on a personal level as we transform their smiles. Since I am new to orthodontics, I so appreciate that Dr. Pittman and our amazing team of women have all been so helpful and respectful. I absolutely love and feel so blessed to be working with each and every one of them!
My husband and I moved to Martinsburg from Erie, PA three years ago. After living in the Snow Belt for 20 years, I am loving the weather here in the Shenandoah Valley! I love walking the beach and spending time with my golden doodle, Chance. My pride and joy are my two daughters, sons-in-law, and my three grandbabies.
Scheduling/ Treatment Coordinator
I work at our front desk, where I schedule patient appointments and assist with general practice functions to keep the office running smoothly. Since joining the team, I’ve enjoyed becoming acquainted with all of our patients and their families, developing new skills, and working with this incredible team of professionals. Our team is more of a family; we work hard, we appreciate and care about each other, and show each other a lot of respect. I am so grateful for my team’s willingness to help me learn everything I can about this amazing field!
I moved from East Tennessee to Maryland almost two years ago, after marrying my husband Bob. I love to cook, read, and spend time on the beach. Bob and I own a Harley Davidson motorcycle and are active members of the local HD chapter.
I joined Dr. Pittman’s office in 2014 to oversee the daily office operations, create financial contracts, coordinate insurance benefits, schedule patient appointments, and provide patients with education about orthodontic treatment. I really enjoy meeting new patients, getting to know them and their families, and watching as their smiles transform over the course of treatment. I absolutely love working with everyone in our office—we make a great team! I feel honored to be able to work with some of the most amazing women and the best doctor who care greatly for our patients, as well as each other.
I am a single mom to three amazing children who keep me on my toes at all times. We are huge football fans, so in my house, fall is our favorite time of year!
